觸及性靈深處的暖陽 The In-Depth Warmth Inside Our Body and Soul Touched

很開心愈來愈多朋友們喜歡討論國際利他、服務學習的相關事宜，而Hope也以盡量淺白的方式，來交待一個歷年下來已經變得有些冗長的故事；當中自然有無法到位的地方，而這些無法到位之處，相當然爾，應該也給了大家更多的想像空間和探索可能呵呵呵 :)

一向以來相當幸運的是，Hope 已獲得一些殊榮，她已不再認為在眾人面前光鮮亮麗地出現有任何重要性，相比之下，當人心當中得以播下關懷、溫暖與正能量的種子，於她而言似乎更有價值。那份至高無尚的榮光和明耀之感，使她至今仍在思索：

為何多年來與她並肩於東非工作的同伴們，竟會表示沿著那條連接埃及至南非的大道、在肯亞與坦尚尼亞交界一帶的土地，可以任由 Hope 的永續理想和方法來進行使用。在他們眼中，這位女性雖便是獨自一人先開始凝聚能量、為他人創造美好 ，但他們所給予她的超高度信任，他們捨棄擁有重金的龐大組織而希望與她繼續合作，則令她更是心懷謙卑。

或許在多年前，當她初次提及要照顧世界各地無數偏鄉村落的理想時，她對此事的詮釋尚且有所不同。然而今日再度回望，她心中充滿更深的感恩與讚賞，感謝所有人、所有物種、乃至整個宇宙的參與。她堅信，世界之所以更美好，正是因為眾生之平等、大眾一同所散發的善意，而人們最需要的，則是去發現並實踐這份良善的本質。

I am truly delighted that more and more friends enjoy discussing matters related to international altruism and service learning. Hope has tried to explain, in as simple a manner as possible, a story that over the years has inevitably grown somewhat lengthy. Naturally, there are places where the account cannot be fully complete; yet precisely because of these gaps, it has perhaps offered everyone even greater room for imagination and exploration of possibilities, hehehehehe:)

Fortunately, Hope has received certain credentials that she no longer considers standing glamorously before others to be of any importance, especially when no seeds of care, warmth, and positive energy are sown into the minds of people. With profound honor, she is still reflecting on why her counterparts, who have worked alongside her in East Africa for years, would voice that parcels of land along the great road connecting Egypt to South Africa — near the border of Kenya and Tanzania — could be freely entrusted to her. They see her as a sole individual mounting her energy to do something wonderful for others, and this recognition humbles her deeply.

Perhaps years ago, when she presented her ideals about supporting countless villages across rural parts of the world, she might have interpreted things differently. But today, as she revisits those ideals, she is filled with even greater gratitude and appreciation for all people, all species, and the vast universes intertwined in this work. She is convinced that the world is indeed better because of the kindness emitted from all beings, and that people simply need to discover how such kindness can be cultivated and lived.
