Good Deeds 良善的行為
"Hope! We went to the place, the three of us, and we spent an evening leisurely at a quiet, comfortable accommodation. Then, we went to him... The whole family is happy..." In our conversation, this much hospitable person retired as a former principal from a public school in a nation that is totally not my own was trying to explain to me the details. Months ago, when I was still with these people, I left, and with some messages written to a person, to a family, I entrusted these people to hand those words of encouragement to this person, to the family. Now, they have done this for me.
Many, many times in my life, I need to do something like this, as during my journey of serving the needed, I cannot be around all the time; therefore, some people need to act on my behalf: the amazing part is I am always able to find people who can act on my behalf. How fortunate I am!
遠方的朋友與我連絡上，電話那一頭對方非常興奮提到：
「我們把妳的信帶到了! 那一家人都非常感動! 我們一行人前一天就出發，住在當地溫馨的住處，第二天才到這戶人家造訪。他們非常非常高興妳對他們的關懷之意……」在我們的談話過程中，這位熱心公益、國籍不同的退休校長，仔細與我訴說著他們的行程。
幾個月前，當我必須離開該處時，我將重要的物件託附這些人物，請他們帶給這些需要一些陽光、希望灑落的人，而他們真的辦到了。
我想不起在這樣的生命旅程中，有多少次我必須這樣請託他人代我而行，原因是我無法時時刻刻位處於每一個我所服務過的場域當中，而幸運的是，我的請託總是有人可以代我為之，令人無限感動……
Touching moments are endlessly speechless, for speeches, at such minutes and hours, seem to be unnecessary, even when we apply words or sounds... Perhaps these are the reasons when I am finally quietly sitting here to produce the video and the words, Heaven must make it rain, bringing some forms of merriment...
即便用書寫、即便用音聲……於是，上蒼必須在此刻我能夠靜靜坐在這裡書寫及錄音時，一掬歡喜之淚?
這世上有多少人無家可歸?
How many in this world are homeless?
這世上有多少人有家卻歸不得?
How many in this world are with families which they cannot turn to?
每一扇家門背後也許都有某種故事，並非我們能夠全然理解；充其量，我們只是靜心體會，並且找出某種我們可以助益他人的方式--這是指，如果我們願意的話……
Each and every family owns its own stories that cannot be comprehended completely by outsiders. What we can or may do perhaps would be to truly listen to their stories and find possible ways to assist such individuals: that is, if we are willing to.
In the first image, there're some stories hidden, as all stories for those who need some sunshines in life. I am more than grateful to be given such opportunities to understand more about humanity, so that I, in return, can do something to make things a bit better, thus generating a better universe surrounding us.
I am very grateful towards the people inside the image. Equally, I am extremely thankful towards each and every soul I have met on a daily basis, whether they are visible or invisible to me.
在第一張影像裡面其實有著不為人知的故事
一如所有不為人知的故事一般
這些人、這些事，需要的僅僅只是多一點的陽光
很榮幸他們願意與我分享這些故事
也很慶幸自己能夠成為灑下一些些陽光給予別人的無名小卒
感謝在影像裡面出現的人、事、物
也由衷感謝那些我所眼見、或我所並未見到的美好靈魂，在人間、在宇宙、在四面八方
