夜間，堅持我是他們大家族一份子的成員，訝異為何我沒有一起用餐…….
During the evening hours, the huge middle class family members insisting that I’m one of them in east Africa were surprised I didn’t have dinner with them.
其實我是靜默中有著無限感恩，並且安靜地祈福🙏與祝禱
Actually I was silently praying while enjoying the serenity and grace filled with my entire being or existence.
我不知道如何表示自己的感動，當我見到新的校內高層、或者另一群可能每天忍受飢腸轆轆之感，但雙眼看著我時發亮的學生們，和校內教師們一起如此信任著我，將像這樣一群橫跨國小四年級至中學八年級學生，無條件交給我來進行相關服務計劃時，學生們即便面對高度的、沒有想像過的挑戰，一如當時開展「綠洲計劃」般，對我全然信任時……
I don’t know how I can otherwise express my gratitude to a group of faculty members as well as students putting their complete trust in me, with the kind of novel project proposed by me challenging the students’ intellectual capacity, patience, and endurance, and they are still more than willing to give things a try, regardless of the situation that they may be starving daily since their families can’t afford to feed them as their counterparts in other much more developed regions of the global community.

Students in the image are delighted to be photographed; among them, some need to walk for more than two hours per day back and forth from the school and their home, sometimes even passing the borders.
他們當中有人必須每天步行單趟一小時以上、跨越國界而就學。
他們當中許多人的父母作著一個勞工階級的工作、並且並無自己的房地產或牲畜。
Their parents work as blue collared. Some don’t own their own land, property, or animals like chicken, cows and so on.
其中不少學生因為求學而必須離鄉背景，與父母分別，並與其他親戚同住。
Some need to be away from their parents by living with other relatives because of going to school.
他們大多數當中所擁有的鞋子都未超過三雙、衣服不超過兩三套。
The majority of the students in this photo don’t own more than two to three pairs of shoes, pants, and own perhaps two to three shirts.
這群學生中最低的年級是四年級，但已經可以冗長英語句子與我溝通、討論。
The youngest students who are in their fourth grade can communicate with me in English by applying long sentences.
而他們不但有自己不同族裔的母語，也有兩種額外的官方語言要學習。
In addition to their mother tongue from their respective tribes, they need to master two official languages.
補習班是他們全體沒有聽過的詞彙。
They have never heard anything like after school classes which are popular in quite a few countries in Asia.
我的靜默與感恩，來自對他們的欽佩與祝福🙏
My silence and gratitude are based upon my admiration of their abilities and many best wishes.
我的感動與感恩，則來自他們對於我這個外來人士的全然信任、積極配合。
I am much touched and thankful due to their complete trust in me and their willingness to collaborate with me for more projects I’d like to execute.
Why am I so fortunate? 為何我會如此幸運呢？
Starlit sky looks at me, so I look at it back in awe to the wonders I’m experiencing…
繁星點點的星空無言相對於我，於是我在安和中靜心體會自己的奇幻遭逢。
“I guess you are 32 years old, or younger, judging from the ways you talk and work here.” One of the teachers tells me.
其中一位老師說「妳應該三十二歲上下？看妳和我們在一起的樣子，我的感覺是這樣……」
Is how long a person’s life important? I tend to think when I keep learning from these good people and any others in the world, I really, honestly do not need to consider about such an issue…
一個人的在世年歲有多長，是否真的要緊呢？
我的淺見是只要自己不斷與此間良善的人們學習、師法於世界各地的人士，那麼不論何種性別、年齡、宗教等等，似乎並不舉足輕重了⋯⋯
Heaven’s plans are forever mysterious but seemingly predestined. I am much humbled and will stay in awe!
冥冥之中自有天意的歷程，更加使人對天地萬物產生敬畏之情。
