Minutes for the Association Weekly Meeting

 

Attendees: Cindy Lu, Cathy Hsu, Hope Wang

 

 

Agenda:

I Continuation—Making Contact with organization(s) worldwide

Cindy has voiced concerns about the whole issue being disturbing, resulting the idea of making contact with local schools to see if MATCHING program can also be utilized in these schools possible, esp. when Cindy has consulted Sandy. With her much experienced career, Sandy informed Cindy that those students in the remote regions are quite busy with the sponsorships from various enterprises. That is the reason helping out in Taiwan seems to be not that much favored by us after such discussion.

 

Cathy still makes contact with other organizations on a daily basis. The KNIGHT CUP has been waiting for the replies from them.

 

Cindy would like to make contact with local organizations in the first, second and third sectors to see if MATCHING program can be introduced to the local companies.

People are encouraged to reach out for those possible organizations which would like to apply this scheme.

 

 

II Regarding the MATCHING program

Currently people from the fire dept. in Taipei City have continued their English learning experience with us.

 

 

III Cathy in Taiwan suggests that people can move ahead with whatever inspirations we each have towards helping the others. In the future, we can all keep sharing such ideas with each other in our meetings, esp. she has asked those working inside her company for the possibility of donating computers—are they laptops??? People in Kenya told us they could not receive mails sent to them in the past; if we mail those things, they may not get them anyways…
