為何我們一定堅持要針對這樣的東非群體進行服務工作、並且將他們與北美人士串連起來呢?
Why are we so persistent in serving these people in east Africa while connecting them with people from affluent regions like North America?
We've found them to live in extremely impoverished circumstances, still with many households living under 1USD per person per day while they desire to improve to their lives with our collaborations. Moreover, many in the developed regions have no definite ideas about how such people live while in such rich nations, people can suffere more from issues occured mentality-wise. 東非人士生活在相對非常落後的環境當中，有許多家戶仍然每天生活在一日一美元的用度當中，但又極力希望提升自身的生活水平、與外界合作……於此同時，來自富饒之地的人士雖然在生活水平上較未受到過度衝擊，卻在心理的健全層面上倍受因物質生活提升而面臨的考驗。

Namaga, a place in between Kenya &
Tanzania, and the mountainous regions near Amboseli National Park 肯亞及坦尚尼亞兩國接壤名為「娜滿加」之處，及鄰近之「安波諧篱」國家公園鄰近腹地 |

位處上述地區之馬賽人群為此行服務之具體對象，而該地區亦包含其他亦為肯亞公民之種族 時至今日，馬賽族裔亦分有不同之社會經濟狀況，較低階層者所居之處所多為牛糞所建，內無隔間、燈光、洗手間等 The Massais, a Nomadic group, would be
the main group of people served by this action taken this year; however, the
region is peppered with other groups of people who are also citizens of
Kenya. Up to today, the Massais can be
classified by their various social-economical status in which the most
impoverished live in cow dung-made huts without electricity or running water. |

Certain students have received
scholarships in order to continue their education; 部份原本無法升學之學生得以在獎學金之濟助之下，繼續升學； Women who used to be aimless and
belittled due to their existing culture are empowered to be more independent due
to the friendly loan services; 原本漫無目的、因文化價值而信念低落之婦女，由於「友善借款」之介入開始產生目標感及人生信念； A few cow-dung huts have been replaced by
concrete houses due to the success of FRIENDLY LOAN; 原原本當地人士所居住之牛糞屋，已經由「友善借款」之計畫施行，被幾個磚瓦房取而代之； People begin to have the habits of
growing vegetables when water is available despite of their nomadic
background—vegetables are for self-consumption or for selling into the market
places. 在可取得水源之情況下，人們採取耕種蔬果之行為模式，除自給自足外亦可於市場販售。 |

為何有上開成績呢 How Are The Above-Mentioned Possible? |
The locals are willing to collaborate with
outsiders and listen to different voices, voices other than themselves. Moreover,
people who are kind enough anonymously donate the necessary fundings throughout
the years to make things more possible. 在地馬賽人群願意接納雅言及與外界平和合作，加上不願具名之捐贈者再三抑注，使得經年累月下來該區域人民生活得以改善。 |

在地目前狀況分析 Current Situations |
Due to effects of global warming and
drastic weather patterns, the locals have not seen too much rain for the last
half a decade or so. This affects all the economic situations of these people,
let alone their nomadic lifestyle. 由於溫室效應及劇烈天候的影響，當地人士已足足有五年時間並未見到正常降雨，此事導致各種經濟活動停滯，並影響舊有之遊牧生活模式。 |

Massai Female Groups 馬賽女性 團體 |
“TIE
ALTOGETHER”—Using used or idled neckties from everywhere,
Massai women who are served in this project will sew them to make products
for fundraising purposes. For the kids or the male adults, shall they want to
join suit, they are welcome. Women who are able to sew will be paid hourly. 「緊密相連」計畫—運用不再使用、廢棄之領帶之縫製，而創作可供義賣的藝術品，參與之當地馬賽婦女，凡能夠縫紉者，將於此段時間獲得工資。 At different places outside the region
served, including places outside Kenya, used or idled neckties will be donated
and collected. 在服務地以外其他地區及國度，將展開募集領帶之計畫。 |

and Drama Project—To empower the learners, songs and plays
from their own stories will create by all of them to be performed by all of
