理解 UNDERSTANDING

在學校裡面受到信任和託附，所以，教授的學生年級有高也有低，這是我很榮幸的事情，我也發現，從來沒有教過也沒有默契的學生們，慢慢在開學不到一個月的時間之內，

表現得愈來愈好，他們願意進步、突破，

也願意開發自己的可能。

I am much honored to be able to teach students of all different levels in the current school I am working at, thanks to the trust from the school authority. Inside those different classes, students have shown their willingness to improve and enhance themselves in just less than a month after school starts this semester: prior to this semester, I never taught any of them before. 

為何看得出來呢? 

從高年級學生的心得反饋中，可以看得出他們的成長。

Why would I be able to see this?

It's actually from the things written by these students that I can observe their growth. 

他們的成長和我的成長是同義複詞。而我們的成長包括了反省、淬鍊、督促自我的進步等等，我很高興在我的教學場景裡面，學生們可以高興到哈哈大笑，但是也可以安靜學習，我也很感恩自己受到各種賞識，像是透過不同的教學場景而希望自己可以不斷進步，也發現到自己會不斷反省而讓教學的每一個時時刻刻中，不同的學生們可以在我們共處的時刻中發光發熱。

Their growth is identical to that of mine. Our joint advancement includes to reflect, perform, and encourage ourselves to be better. Delighted, I can see that whereas sometimes students have to learn with me more seriously, at some other moments, they can be laughing wholeheartedly. Also, I have found that by reflecting every single moment, it is possible that I can be teaching better, allowing that space for a variety of different students to shine in the classes I instruct. 

最近有一個教師甄選活動，一般而言開放的對象應該是新進教師、或者是教學歷練較少的教師，所提的相關細節包含了個人的相關教學歷程等等，沒想到在一連串審核及角逐過程當中，我竟然仍雀屏中選，換言之，

我自己的發光發熱仍然持續上演……

Lately there is a teachers selection which would be open for the newly come teachers or those who are with lesser experiences in certain area in the field of education practiced here in Taiwan. What the candidates have offered would be the teaching experiences of themselves. Surprisingly, I am selected out of the intense competition. In other words, I still shine in my professional field. 

 

這些點點滴滴發生在教學生涯中的種種，都使我願意繼續開發自己、虛心吸收新知，以期許自己可以做更有益於各種人種、各類物種的事情，並且讓更多人一起打開心扉，

迎向我們所共同面對的艱困挑戰。

All these taking place in my teaching career would make me feel comfortable to keep developing myself and absorb new knowledge. By doing so, I can better assist the other humanity and species to make the world a better place through facing and taking actions in challenges we all face.
