冬日遞暖 Warmth in the Winter Times


 

如何在一個環境裡面讓所有的人都感覺「時有所獲」呢?

How is it possible that in the same environment, everyone can feel s/he has benefited from the same place? 

 

 

帶一群小學低年級學生們到好幾個不同的處室裡外去和師長們打招呼,讓他們七個班級的學生「共同」產出為師長們而設計的「感恩謝卡」,也許是其中的一種方式……

Perhaps the efforts put to make students from 7 different classes to work on the cards they would like to make for diffrent offices, where supervisors or teachers in the same offices received students' greetings, can be one of the ways making such things of sharing warmth with each other in the cold weather hapen just naturally. 

 

 

本來燥動的班級在這些師長們的面前,變得循規蹈矩,沒有任何特別的「犯上作亂」。

The originally much disturbed class became quite well behaved while visiting all these different offices with those Chairs or teachers around. 

 

 

甚至學生們還被這些師長們提醒了「好好上課,要聽老師的話,不然的話……」的言語。

Some kind reminders from these inside the office would match with the situation of this class just very coincidentally. "Please be well-behaved, or else..."

 

 

不知道是不是由於被這樣警告了,但是卻「全身而退」,回到教室裡面的時候,學生們裡面有人比較情緒化一點的,直接發出野獸般的聲音,並且開心笑著。

I wonder whether these students were relieved after the "mission" was completed. Once they were back into the classroom, one of two who are often too emotional were making the sounds of animals out of feelings of happiness, as they're smiling. 

 

 

而我則在思考著:I began to wonder that in the world, different societies, many people are committing crimes imposing pains on those of the others. Such people are even worse than the beasts. 

這個社會、這整個世界,許許多多毒蛇猛獸在各地存活著,他們行使犯罪的事實,他們造成其他人類的苦痛,比之於野獸更加恐怖或令人髮指;


而我也許只是複製自己在幼年時,從一些師長們身上的所得所獲,讓我成為一個有信念的人,並且,想將這樣的信念,與我在台灣的學生們分享。

Facing this fact, I trust that when I am here in Taiwan, I am simply trying to share with my students what I had gained from my teachers, those who were rather caring in shaping our personalities, when I was a little girl. Duplicating their successful footprints, I truly wish my students can be well cultivated in the days to come. 




是的,在海外,教學的模式一定不同,著重的角度必不相仿,原因很簡單---------

每個地區的人們所需要的,就是不一樣。

Indeed, overseas, in every part of the world, whatever values we have can be different, resulting our classroom interactions to be with many contrasting values. 


Why?


People who are from different cultures need different nourishments. It is due to such different nourishments given to the others that we also grow from this process of sharing and giving.
