These two pieces of work in Mandarin Chinese and English formats are inspired after explaining a part of the book, Have A Little Faith, written by Mitch Albom. Titled "The Great Tradition of Running Away," the writer describes how people run away from God. As for me, in my daily lives, I see people run away from each other, things they do not like or enjoy, issues they dislike to handle; such led to my inspiration to create such poems focusing on human relationships. Though in my works there're men and women, they can symbolize anything, anyone.

Do we only want to run away from things or people we do not like?

Why do we also run away from things or people we love?

TRACING

Running away from her, from everything,

He has come to realize this thing

Is not about whether he thinks

Or not; rather, it is about all things

In life combined. He feels he has sinned,

Greatly, to the sphere she feels not anymore to anything,

He included. He feels the pain and sorrow that he no longer hears the birds sing.

No more though. No more, for he needs to sing,

And he ought to said to the abyss of ink marking his sins

By telling her she is treasured because there are hearts she wins

When he sees in the gentle breezes where she winks.
