With the intention to prioritize the language that appeared in my brain when each paragraph was created, I intend to keep the following paragraphs the ways they are—that is, when you see Mandarin Chinese first, it means I began writing that particular paragraph in Mandarin Chinese at the initial stage whereas later on, English was translated. 義務指導中學生英語學習心得  (點擊即可收聽，內容中英貫穿) 那是我記憶當中最鮮明的一次廟裡求籤，爾後或之前，倒是未曾作過這樣的事。   身為一位學生代表或者秘書，在接待外賓們的時候陪他們一起由警車開道，來到台灣中部附近著名的廟宇時，外賓們好奇放在桌上長長的筆筒裡面的一根一根細木，作為何用。   經過住持的允許和協助解說，開始跟他們翻譯那是什麼。   「什麼，一個籤代表這個人的未來 ? 這什麼迷信啊 ? 」一位某國代表這樣說。   另一位他國代表則說：「你就算不贊成這種事，也不需要這麼狂妄表達你的意見吧 ?! 人家的文化自有其特別之處。難道你的文化裡面都沒有無稽之談 ? 」   還有一位則對著我說：「不然妳代表我們抽一個籤吧 ! 我們又不是這裡人，這裡的神明估計也不會保佑我們吧 ?! 」   住持聽著我的翻譯嚴肅說著：「神明誰都會保佑的，誰只要意正心誠求籤，就會得到神明的庇佑。」   這種狀況底下，只見幾十位膚色不同、性別不同的不同國籍人士，開始抽籤以及進入詩籤解釋的過程。協助大家了解詩籤之意的我，感到特別有意思。當行程快到尾聲，大家即將集合時，幾位後面留下來等候聽我翻譯完詩籤意義的代表們說： 「妳也抽一個吧 ?! 看妳的命運如何 ? 」   住持操著他非常閩南口音的腔調說：「是啊，這位同學，妳不要只有幫這些阿豆阿 ( 外國人 ) ，妳也抽一個好了。」   結果抽到什麼呢 ?   住持告訴我那是籤王，大吉大利之兆。   很長的一段歲月我都保存著那個籤詩，只是在不斷行腳於各處的過程裡已然遺失；我之所以保存著籤詩倒不是由於該籤乃籤王等級，而是籤詩的文辭精妙令人愛不釋手，以及當時進行這種「工作」背後的深義 —   它需要經由各大專院校派出該校優秀學生後，再經過部會甄選。刷下的人多上榜的人少。接待外賓期間雖然吃得好、住得好，卻幾乎毫無收入可言，比起在外接家教和到補習班當英文老師打工的收入，簡直可用杯水車薪來形容，然而對於這種服務工作樂此不疲的我，會在抽到那只籤王後的年復一年，繼續前往服務現場，並且協助新進夥伴們的適應。   由於在五...
